This was back around 1985-1986 when I first got involved with the road agreement between the county, and OPA.
I had a copy of the agreement with the County to give OPA a share of the state road funds. Can't find it. However, I did not recall it going back to 1985 or so, if that is the agreement you reference. As for whatever Mr. Kantz said or didn't say over 35 years ago, unverified and unreferenced, perhaps it would be best to ask OPA and/or the County about the adequacy of the OPA roads base. Man you come off combat of sometimes. Combat? Seeking facts rather than vague memories is combat?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: Man you come off combative of sometimes. I believe the director‘s name was Tony Kantz or something like that. This was back around 1985-1986 when I first got involved with the road agreement between the county, and OPA. it was my understanding that the board would have gladly turned our roads over to the County in a heartbeat to avoid having to maintain them in house. However, the County wanted no part of them. Marty |
