There was a past director who was retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration. I can’t remember his name but he was of the belief that one of the reasons the county didn’t want to take over our roads was because they didn’t meet the standards.
So, your info is all second hand from some past director who "....." However, who was this past director, and when did OPA ever ask Worcester County to take over all the roads in Ocean Pines? As you are so eager to always point out, the roads in OPA are owned by OPA. Are you saying some OPA board was willing to give the County ownership of OPA roads at some point? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: Please show me where OPA has ever claimed that the roads meet County or State specifications.
