Please show me where OPA has ever claimed that the roads meet County or State specifications. There was a past director who was retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration. I can’t remember his name but he was of the belief that one of the reasons the county didn’t want to take over our roads was because they didn’t meet the standards. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think it should be mentioned that the vast majority of our roads don’t comply with Maryland road standards with or without bicycle lanes. You have often repeated that but OPA says the roads base are fine and comply with County. Do you have a factual reference or just saying what you may have heard 30 or more years ago? |
