Here's all you need in OP bike wise. It's got fenders and a rear rack which will come in handy when the  loonies finally get their way and bomb Iran,  causing $30 gas. So you can put some boxes on the back and pedal to food lion for milk and toilet paper.

As for dedicated bike lanes, it makes no difference how wide they are cause  they are just mere suggestions anyway to the typical driver. Same as speed limits.

I cross the "Sussky" river when commuting to OP and I have yet to figure out how a biker would get to the other side other than building a raft and poling it across.

The rte 1 bridge is too narrow by the turbines.

Rte 95 - no bikes allowed.

The rte 40 bridge in Havre de Grace has a bike lane that only a person w a death wish would use and I have never seen anyone try it.
