Come on. The point is the County was paying for the maintenance of our roads.
The initial point of controversy was when you stated OPA roads were not at some state or county design standard. Why is this an issue you have brought up off and on for 30 years or more, apparently based on some comment by a long ago board member? Who cares at this point and why does it matter now? We get our share of what little the state sends to county. The parkway, paved perhaps 25 or so years ago, is still in decent shape, except where the water and sewer operations of county have made road cuts and not properly repaired. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: Come on. The point is the County was paying for the maintenance of our roads. The roads would have, as I believe I said, turned over to the county. The county would own the road. Marty |
