Thanks, Linda. So the new proposed M-01 gives CPI inspectors the right to go onto lots for purpose of checking a possible violation?
One if the difficulties in checking this stuff on the OPA wesite is the resolutions snd most every other document is in pdf “picture” format and nothing can be searched. These files need to be in a searchable-text format. after all, they are created in Word and then changed to pdf. And there is a way to convert Word files to a searchable pdf text format. Or just upload the original Word files. Sure, a user could get the image pdf and do an OCR of the image file and produce back to text, with all the possible associated errors. This needs to be addressed. Many issues. Fir example, cannot copy and past any text from the document. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As referenced, Section 5c. of the proposed gives CPI inspectors the authority to enter the property for a visual inspection, as we get numerous complaints about violations in the rear of the yard that we cannot observe from the roadway. The section you are referencing (5.D.2) is for the Architectural Review Committee to enter the property for visual inspection regarding variance/exception requests only. The homeowner will be notified during the variance/exception process that the committee may be entering the yard. If they refuse, it will be noted on the application. |
