The Board might consider a resolution at the beginning of each OPA election season whereby lot owners posting OPA election signs in accordance with ARC guidelines are considered to have requested and received permission from the Committee.
Yes and No. What does the sentence above even mean? A resolution? The issue is ARC/ECC Guidelines approved by the board and the enforcement thereof. The board HAS NOT changed the Guidelines since April of 2024. They are currently enforceable, if filed properly. Here's one for you - the Guidelines of April 2024 are not enforceable unless filed in the HOA documents "Depository" at the Worcester County Courthouse. I assume they were, but can anyone say with certainly? Perhaps Bruce Bright. The Elections Committee says candidates must follow: Section 600.2 General Criteria G. Number says: "In addition to the address plate, only one (1) sign of any type shall be permitted on any numbered lot." ? What part of that declarative sentence is not clear? What part says someone can place 4 candidate signs on one lot? Section 600.5 does not mention how many board candidate signs may be displayed, either in regard to more than one sign for a particular candidate or perhaps six individual candidate signs if there are six candidates. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: >>> g) All signs, billboards, or advertising structures of any kind are prohibited except upon application to and written permission from the Committee. <<< The Board might consider a resolution at the beginning of each OPA election season whereby lot owners posting OPA election signs in accordance with ARC guidelines are considered to have requested and received permission from the Committee. |
