"First let’s address the 'report.' As you know I have enjoyed the privilege of serving on the board for OPA for eight years and I have never seen the report being shown around on the forum. I don’t doubt it exists but it isn’t something typically given to the board."
Marty, are you even aware of what this discussion is about? The above indicates you are not. Good grief. The discussion is about the CPI report presented by the General Manager as a part of the board GM report at every board meeting. Not something "typically given to the board?" What? "I think the 435 in March number was thrown into the ring to make the sitting board look out of control." Thrown in by whom? This becomes more incredible with each post you write. Now you seem to suggest the GM is including stuff in his GM report to "make the sitting board look out of control?" Marty, do you have any idea what these ongoing comments may sound like to anyone who actually attends meetings. "In order for a member/property owner to be found in violation there must be a majority vote by the board of directors and that my friend is a FACT." Getting back to whether you even are aware of the issue, your statement above is correct. Except that is not the issue under discussion. The issue under discussion is the number of violation notices sent by CPI to association members in a given month and reported as a part of the GM report to the board every regular meeting for years. Just this past Saturday, the GM report provided the board with information that CPI issued 207 new violation notices to association members in May 2025. You really expect association members to believe this is yet another attempt by the GM "to make the sitting board look out of control?" I see no point in further response to you regarding what I believe is pure nonsense, inspired soley by PDS (Peck Derangement Syndrome). Hopefully, association members will see it for the nonsense it is as well. Cheers. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ed: First let’s address the “report”. As you know I have enjoyed the privilege of serving on the board for OPA for eight years and I have never seen the report being shown around on the forum. I don’t doubt it exists but it isn’t something typically given to the board. The board in conjunction with the General Manager prepare an agenda. That agenda doesn’t mirror the subject CPI dashboard. I think the 435 in March number was thrown into the ring to make the sitting board look out of control. The real number for the last four months is 100. Don’t believe me, take a minute and check the minutes, meeting agendas or video tape. In order for a member/property owner to be found in violation there must be a majority vote by the board of directors and that my friend is a FACT. Marty |
