Well then perhaps you can bring us up to speed? There is $370,291 spent last year on two not budgeted projects alone. Then there is $1,423,437 shown as transferred surplus. That accounts for less than 50%. My guess is the balance is spread out in our bloated reserves and “on the books”. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That said, Ocean Pines has generated over $6 Million Dollars of surplus to budget over the past 5 years which I suspect a great deal is in a slush fund for a not yet approved firehouse. Maybe I am incorrect, but hasn't the GM explained where the “favorability” has gone? |
