The two sides need to do some talking. Not at the Yacht Club. ![]() Perhaps what is needed is something that should have happened but apparently never did - A closed board meeting to discuss contractual/legal issues with the OPVFD with counsel present for both sides. I heard earlier in the week that the OPA Board of Directors is taking a hard line and saying OP will spend no money on a new southside fire station unless the OPVFD turns over ownership of the property to OPA. If so, why such a hardline position? How was it arrived at? Not to mention such a hardline position was not decided on at a board meeting, to my knowledge. Too much OPA business is being done outside a board meeting room with all members present. I doubt association members care much about who owns the station. |
