The DR guidelines make no sense regarding public office candidate political signs, and as written also require a permit for any board candidate signs. No lot owner gets a permit for a board candidate sign.
The Board has had opportunities to regulate Board campaign signs in the ARC Guidelines over many years, but not acted. However, I'm still not sure of your "no sense" complaint about " DR guidelines". Are you referring to the signs approval provision in the DRs? I thought you are referring to the ARC Guidelines. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The point is that under the ARC Guidelines, an individual who is not recognized as a candidate within Maryland Election law cannot have a political sign in OPA. That is my understanding. The DR guidelines make no sense regarding public office candidate political signs, and as written also require a permit for any board candidate signs.
