I'm not convinced we should go to a management firm.
Joe Agreed Not yet convinced. A potential drawback of a mgt firm may be several levels of responsibility -- a new bureaucracy of contacts to get things done and to get gripes resolved. A bunch of new (supposed) "experts" each with their own spheres of influence. A potential morass, a mess. My bottom line is --study thoroughly -- don't jump too quickly. Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: are well qualified to fill in while the search that Tom Herrick proposed months ago is accomplished. I'm not convinced we should go to a management firm rather than hire a new GM if this one leaves. Would all OPA current employees become employees of the management firm? |
