we don't even draw an 'inside' crowd. we have lost our core crowd of regulars, basically the happy hour and beyond crowd, just about all of whom would eat while at the bar. now, even in the heart of the season, Friday night is it for a big crowd, and even that depends on which band is playing. if it weren't for family fun night on Wednesdays, weekdays would be dead. as far as the improvement in the numbers, I wonder how much of that is due to banquets and cost cutting measures by the manager jerry and how much - - if any - - is due to an increase in receipts (ie increased business). steve lind |
