Clubs of all types have declined in popularity for at least 20 years because of MADD and DUI convictions. Military Officer and NCO clubs have been forced to merge for pretty much the same reason. But somehow, that never factored into the thinking. Pretty obvious at the time. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wonder if the place (due to poor design) is marketable as a lease property. The YC design is but one of many deterrents to its viability as a lease property. Its location, while beautiful in the waterside photos, pretty much limits patronage to OP residents. Who wants to run a retail restaurant located about a mile and a half off of the main drag through circuitous residential streets with no distinguishable signage? |
