Ray may be referring to the first letter sent by the board where they asked for OP equity but never any amount. Of course he conventiently neglects to mention the second letter where the board tells the delegates it is absolutely not asking for a percentage but wants all the money to go to the county. It is absolutely incredible that Ray is now suggesting this happened because of the board. I'm waiting to see how Judy Boggs will take credit. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for the vote of support, Liinda! Ray might want to know that some of us have been in touch with Mathias over the past 15 months and have been told in no uncertain terms that the legislation could/would not be changed. He even stated that at the town meeting recently. Jim insisted that OP missed its opportunity for impact funds when he spoke to Chief Massey! |
