Section 13: Kayak/Canoe Subject: Lewis Road Kayak launch Msg# 839683

Information from Maryland Coastal Bays on the NEW Lewis Road Soft Launch on Ayers Creek.
The launch is off of Lewis Road which can be reached by Route 611 or by Sinepuxent Road. The kayak launch is open from roughly dawn to dusk. The timer on the gate is currently set to open at 6:30 am and close ...at 8:00 pm. The policies are located on signs in front of the entrance and in the parking area. There is a bathroom and bike rack located at the site, but no trash cans so please come prepared to pack out your trash. We hope you enjoy this new recreational attraction.
