CPI does not change their opinion - Architectural Review Committee Guidelines change that CPI is required to enforce. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You do realize that the Guidelines have been updated numerous times (recently last year) so it is not our interpretation but what CPI is now required to enforce. Linda, I complied with your requirements and have the permit. If an electrician puts in one new circuit in 1990 and doesn't pull a permit, it's okay, grandfathered. If a house is filled with r-11/13 insulation in 1990 it is okay, grandfathered. How does CPI justify their changes of opinions from year to year. i.e., When I bought the house and CPI inspected the guy who sold it to me.... "That fence was there" |
