12 inched inside the paved area. Read the law I quoted.
Hence my confusion. You also wrote "Recently, OPA said, "As for street parking, this is allowed per Maryland Transportation Code that allows vehicles to be parked parallel to the right hand curb or edge of roadway – we confirmed with the Police that 2 wheels need to touch the easement area." Since the easement area is outside the road edge, OPA's position is that as long as two wheels are in the grassy easement by 12 inches or more the vehicle is legally parked. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: the right two tires must be 12 inches or more outside of the edge of the road pavement into the easement area. 12 inched inside the paved area.Read the law I wuoted. Are you suggesting (i) OPA has the right to issue tickets if cars don't park as highlighted above, and (ii) OPA should begin issuing tickets? I am talking about LAWS. Not DRs. Police can enforce laws like issuing parking tickets , not an HOA board. What is the County/State LAW applicable to parking on public accessible roads in op? Seems like a simple question. |
