I think that Joe Reynolds had a place on Seneca Creek. Not sure whether that was summer, or full time.
There was a boat yard near the mouth of the Seneca where we later had boat bottom painting done. Can't recall their name. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Never had her for a teacher but my sister did and was quite impressed. I don't recall ever seeing her. I do remember Mr Jersa and also a very young art teacher, Ms. Muratore. There was a 1st or 2nd year art teacher there whose name escapes me. She dressed like a beatnik with black leotards and was very striking. She had a pottery wheel and the kids liked to watch her throw pottery. It was a sloppy undertaking, I remember. She went missing from the faculty mid term and the word on Sefton ave. was that she was fired for flirting with the boys. Change of subject alert My grandmother had a shore house on Seneca Creek where I spent summers. In the early 50s every other shore had a sign "boats for Hire". |
