Exactly, yet they were suspended for weeks and months. There has been a lot of speculation and reputations were tarnished. I prefer the transparency, let everyone decide for themselves. No, I don’t know Billy Bailey. There is a new NLRB ruling that says employees (and former employees) have the right to express themselves, in any manner they see fit. It will be interesting to see if this translates over to unemployment cases. Previously, if an employee gets belligerent at work and gets fired he might be denied unemployment, but the new ruling says he/she had a right to express their feelings. Social media policies are under review for squashing employees rights to express themselves. Sometimes former employees are justified and sometimes they’re crazy. I’m on my way to court today for a client’s former employee’s retaliatory actions, pretty sure they’ll see she’s crazy…should be fun. | ||||||
