Nice try at backpedaling. Did not work.  Your anecdotal information is of little value.
I also know there is abuse of the system in place having witnessed 20 people come thru the pool gates giving the same Ocean Parkway address. If you were checking those people can we assume they all provided proof that they were renting at that address? My guess -- the staff is not checking for adequate proof of renting. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I am familiar with Associate Memberships. I also know there is abuse of the system in place having witnessed 20 people come thru the pool gates giving the same Ocean Parkway address. Having a card would eliminate that sort of abuse. It's also noteworthy that the last Articles of Amendment and Restatement were signed in 2013. If there is no appetite to look into changing short term rentals, perhaps, changing the language in Sixth, paragraph 7, to make it clear it is for Associate Memberships and not daily fees might be a way to raise revenue and prevent pool capacity issues for members. |
