I appreciate the board's transparency with the reporter, but I would have jumped off the thread at the same point she did. She'd gotten the clarification she needed about the other directors' positions on Parks' statement. Those last two emails were more personal than substantive. Good gossip fodder, perhaps, but not newsworthy. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I took it as being professional in the situation where the others were heading into areas that they might regret. They were going into a board member interaction mode Parks invited that interaction with the reporter. And it was appropriate and professional of Parks to do so. This was no background interview. Clearly stated for publication. Imagine a similar exchange among Biden’s cabinet members after Biden invites them all into an email exchange with a reporter. The reporter would not want to see emails where cabinet members disagree with some remarks made by the president? It is called NEWS. |
