If you roll back parking passes for residents who do not have an amenity membership (swim, golf, racquet, etc.) from $230 to $130 as you suggest and roll back passes for residents who do have an amenity membership an equivalent percentage from $150 to $85, you will be taking a haircut in total beach parking revenue by about $200,000. You will have to make this up by increasing the assessment on all 8,476 lots by $24.
If you look at page 2 of the proposed budget, you will see that it is a zero-sum game. |
