Slightly off thread, but...
What is the purpose of yard signs for board candidates? To me, they are a waste of resources. There are biographies, interviews, newspaper articles, this forum. There is plenty of information available on each candidate. Who on Earth would cast a vote based on seeing a candidates name on a yard sign? I certainly would not and I would think most owners would agree. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Allows candidate and referendum signs as long as they comply with restrictions stated. I believe your take is incorrect. Board elections are not public office elections. You are confused perhaps in thinking they are the same. They are corporate board elections. The Maryland law and the contents of the Guidelines are about public office elections. See post from Trummel. |
