For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Many of the places that I enjoyed are long gone and some of the neighborhoods I knew in my youth aren't somewhere I want to visit today...it's heart breaking to see what some of them have become. In the early 60's Baltimore City had a population of almost one million. By 1980 the population was 785,000 and by 2000 the population had dropped to 650,000. A lot of things are long gone. |
