Andy is the dealer principal now and his brother, Don Jr. is the used car manager. Ann had told me that Don "semi-retired" and he has a big travel rv that he goes off in. She apparently doesn't care for it and prefers OC. It truly is a small world. It's amazing to think that a car dealer would be around the area for decades. Although, my parents were "Ford" and "Lincoln-Mercury" people when I was growing up, for the life of me I can't remember the name of the dealer in Shirlington where they bought their cars. My first car came from Herby's in Alexandria on Duke Street; not sure if you know that area; but I think Ted M. did. Oh, I just remembered - it was Cherner's in Shirlington where my parents used to get their cars. Ever heard of them? Linda |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Andy is the dealer principal now and his brother, Don Jr. is the used car manager. They relocated to their new facility several years ago in Cockeysville Md. They sold there old location to the Thompson Auto Group and purchased their new location. |
I would be willing to bet that my mom still has her "Bill of Sales" from the 50s for their cars.
