Yes, the good Paster could make an effort to change the DR's. He would likely only address his own Section, not all of them, which would leave us in a fine mess. Section 10 has 1,294 numbered lots so I wouldn't say that it would take him very little time. It would be much simpler, quicker and all encompassing for Marty to attempt to modify the Guidelines, if he only had the time. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Your are an OPA Director, Paster Abent is not! You are an elected legislator who has the power to prepare and propose for adoption changes to the documents which govern OPA. Paster Abent does not. With regard to changing the DRs, Pastor Abent, for relatively little money, has the exact same power under the DRs as the Board of Directors. He can send a proposed DR change to association members in his section and ask them to approve a DR change that would allow trailers such as he owns. He could have this done in very little time for a cost of perhaps less than $1000, and he could solicit donations to offset the cost. Whether he would get over 50% approval return is the only question. Abent has the power. Every association member has the power. |
