That is why I suggested that it may be good to read the complete code on the Worcester County web site. I am not sure that a cloth car cover would satisfy the above code unless it is considered an "enclosure". There apparently is also an exception like the above for any "incorporated" areas of Worcester County. I assume that is so towns like Berlin, Snow Hill etc. can make their own laws.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where:

Jack, as it happens I see an article on page 19 of the current Shore Progress about a property in Pocomoke that came before the County Commissioners at a public hearing with many items of non-compliance, including untagged vehicles.

Apparently the property owner has complied. However, one interesting tidbit in the the article is a statement by Ed Tudor, county director of the Department of Review and Permitting. In reference to an untagged pickup truck Tudor said ".. an untagged pickup truck can stay on the site as long as it is covered or screened."
