Joe, if there were fines for parking on the streets of Ocean Pines in violation of our by-laws, those fines might well replace the entire assessment. Might be an interesting idea.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: An interesting question that I don't have an answer to is whether or not the OPA has ever approached the Commissioners to establish a parking restriction ordinance for Ocean Pines. If it were possiable and one existed the police could issue citations that would be enforceable in traffic court. All fines would go to the county or the State of Maryland. |
