If what you just wrote has any merit maybe the OPVFD would be better off with a second more modern facility? Oh, wait, they already have a second facility on the north side that goes virtually unused.
A separate issue. However, are you proposing a full-time staff around the clock at the north station? At any rate, that deal was made when you were helping get a new Community Center, if I recall correctly. The new north station was to replace the facility in the old CC torn down to build the new Community Center. |
