For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The idea of an electronic sign was a good one. However, a LOT of research was needed before execution of such an important and expensive part of OP communication. I am sure the committee had good intentions, but that does not excuse the failure of the end product. The Board, the GM, and the company making and installing the signs are all culpable. I think it was pretty apparent there had been a mistake, if you were watching the installation of the signs. Sooooo, how are you going to fix it? It seems that lack of research and expertise has cost the Association mega bucks over the years, and until the members wake up, pay attention, and hold the Board and GM accountable, we all suffer the consequences. |
