He should have just put the fence in and waited to see if OPA noticed.
Between the arbitrary enforcement of the DRs, and the occasional nonsensical requirements of some of these DRs, at this point, I think people should start asking forgiveness, not permission. 2400 to complete a land survey to install a small piece of fence is absurd. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here we have an association member with what is said to be a terrific looking property, well maintained. He is being hassled to spend $2400 on a lot survey to install a piece of fencing. And YET, there is a property on Ocean Parkway that has been an absolute mess, including at least one junk car, for over three years. There are existing violations filed, yet it sits there still with all its majestic violations. |
