| A sunny lot is the opposite of a wooded lot. Those of us who live among the trees know that a perfectly manicured lawn bursting with flowers isn't a realistic expectation. Our wooded landscape embraces a different type of natural beauty and one that the Founders of Ocean Pines sought to protect in drafting the governing documents. It is certainly a landscape that Maryland House Bill 322 protects. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It became obvious after the February Board Meeting that this Board, living on sunny lots, on the water or in condos, had deemed manicured lawns the new standard of beauty. I more or less agree with your comments regarding leaf violations, but there was no need for the "sunny lots" comment above. |
