After speaking with the OPVFD
I think you are reporting old news. As I recall, the needed funds for new equipment, perhaps on the order of $3 million, was discussed at a board meeting some time ago. Thus it is not breaking news that the equipment was ordered for delivery in 2025. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: After speaking with the OPVFD, the ROC has learned that a new Engine/Pumper has already been ordered with a delivery date in 2025. This Engine/Pumper was ordered to abide by Worcester County Charter regulations that stipulate front-line engines/pumpers must be no more than 20 years of age. |
