I agree. The strategy is, or should be, well defined. Defining and implementing the tactics to achieve the strategic goals has sometimes been evasive. We have a relatively new board, and probably the best GM since I've lived here. Let's hope that they are able to accomplish these goals. DR enforcement need more work. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Look on the bright side Joe, at least we're not paying them! Pay? No. But they want some money to spend on something, and they want to have the Director of Marketing & Public Relations to more or less become their employee. There have been committees with similar goals working on some “plan” for at least 30 years or more. Here is the strategic plan in one sentence: Keep OPA safe, well-maintained, and fiscally conservative while setting the assessment at the lowest rate to accomplish these objectives and maintaining property values via reasonable DR enforcement. |
