Too many examples to put down here- but if you Google Strategic Planning it really gives you quite a few possibilities commitees could focus on rather repeats. It might be interesting to look at different examples.
Isnt the group supposed to enhance the community in a positive way with suggestions? I also believe a survey is another waste of time and money? The committee should be bringing the ideas forth and let the comments come in from residents. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: “We had a tremendous response to our last survey in 2021,” Committee Chairperson Bernie McGorry said. “While overall the feedback was very positive, the results helped significantly to increase focus on safety, infrastructure and community appearance, while maintaining solid financial performance.” This is incredible information. Who woudda guessed? This sort of information is extremely valuable, so valuable the committee thinks it necessary to do these surveys twice a year to make sure people don't change their minds. Surely the Strategic Planning Committee should be at the top of any list of committees to dump. Don't think so? Grab some popcorn and adequate beverage of choice and take a look at the most recent available committee video from last March: Now they apparently want a staff member to start working for the committee and a pile of cash to do something or other. |
