A lot of summer help came from college kids. They would get a bunch of them together and rent a place for the summer and work for three months. That’s basically impossible to do now, given the prices. As far as the rest, I would assume that most of the workforce is working closer to where they can afford to live. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Could be but it seems so much worse now. They still need to be working somewhere if not here. I worked here in OC a couple of summers, paid rent had a good time ad saved money. And there were no foreign workers then. Are teenagers not working anymore? |
