Could be but it seems so much worse now. They still need to be working somewhere if not here. I worked here in OC a couple of summers, paid rent had a good time ad saved money. And there were no foreign workers then. Are teenagers not working anymore? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Workers can’t afford to live or rent around here. Rents and home prices skyrocketed to the point where low-skill/lower-wage workers have had to leave. This area priced out its own work force. |
