I have to think there is software out there that can produce a paper report on all internet votes that goes like this:
Section 1, lot 1 Candidate A, Candidate B Section 1, lot 2 Candidate B, Candidate C .......... and on and on so that the final count for all three candidates matches whatever the computer tells you. I'm thinking there is software out there that has this paper trail that meets the needs of organizations, like HOAs, who want to verify internet votes and are not hamstrung by by-laws that mandate secret ballots like Ocean Pines. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Find a system that can do that and conform with the by-laws before introducing internet balloting for the August 2024 board election I agree. The problem is - how is a recount accomplished on a Internet vote. The provider is never gonna admit any possibility of error or hack. |
