You are correct, the $55,000 budget for a food truck would afford a really nice enclosed playground.  Looking at other restaurants in the area, typical areas are 1000-2000 sq ft.  There is about 1100 sq ft of patio space that could be used on the East side of the building, starting from the sidewalk on the north side, the building on the west side, and going south to the bar.  This still leaves almost 25 of patio to get to the pool, and would make it really easy for entry to an enclosed area from both the bathroom hallway, and the bar area.   Looking at several manufacturers online, this would allow for up to 40 kids, 2-12 in age.  If you take 2.5 kids per family as a rough number, that's 15 more tables seated at capacity.  Pretty good number to help pay for a $5 Million building.

Not sure about using any OP staff to build, as most manufacturers seem to include labor as part of the package.  

If you would like to meet over there sometime and bounce ideas, I would welcome the opportunity. At this point, and contrary to the normal OP way of doing things, probably a viable subject to discuss for work over the winter.  I'd hate to see another facility change that should be done in the off-season occur during prime time.  Still trying to figure out what happened with the roof at the beach club getting wrapped up before memorial day?  I guess it's the OP way, like the fence replacement on the beach club pool that took place last August.   We seem to have really good project management and scheduling.
