Brett,
Trust that while I would certainly want to be on the board and am working to that end, if I don't get elected, it wont dampen my enthusiasm and commitment and I still plan to work with those who want to enact the appropriate changes going forward. I'm encouraged there are a number of seemingly like minded candidates that want to move forward in an reasonable manner on important issues we face as members of OPA, Doug |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Doug, I completely agree, and it is good to see that so many people see the same problems facing us as a community. Regardless of the outcome of this election, I hope this dialogue will expand the mission of the new board, and push a larger movement for positive changes outside of the individual candidates specific platforms. This year's election pool represents such a diverse background of skill sets, I really see that there are many strong options for the members of the community. It's really a shame that only 3 seats are turning over. Brett |
