Here is were we are going to disagree. I do not have any children of that age group so I have no dog in this fight personally. However, when I drive around Ocean Parkway between 3:30 and 4:00 it takes forever because of the school buses. Also, I have a lot of friends that have children and grandchildren that would like nothing better on the weekend than to not go across that bridge to take there families to lunch or dinner. 

There are quite a few successful restaurateurs in Ocean City that swear by them as a way to bring in families. Shawn Harmon at Fishtales just spent quite a bit of money having a new area built an he is one of the most profitable owners per square foot in Ocean City. Obviously at 2:00 on a Monday I am sure it wasn't to crowded but feel free to look at it at noon on Saturday

If done correctly it wouldn't take away form the incredible "ambiance" of the Yacht Club and I am sure would add to the bottom line of our "amenity". If you would like I will meet you there next Wednesday for family fun night and we can ask some of the parents and grandparents their opinions. I would think Brett would already be there so he could join in the discussion!

Lastly, you might remember a discussion on this forum some time back about people who come to the yacht club and sit at a table and drink water or one drink all night and as long as that happens we will never make any money. Well these families ain't them, they spend money and bring friends with kids that spend more money The best part the kids are usually home in bed before 9:00
