I'll turn on the heat to its lowest setting, turn off the water, close the vents, drain the pressure down and flush the water out ofthe toilets. DDitch

Remember, BEFORE you turn off the water outside near the ditch, run all your inside spigots and the outside ones also to see if the water is flowing freely. That way you will know if there are any frozen spots. If the water is not running, you should use a hair dryer in the areas closest to the outside wall to thaw the pipe. That will be the most likely spot to freeze. The further under under the crawl space you go, the warmer it will be.

After you turn off the water outside, let all the spigots empty well and leave them open.

If your pipes under the house ARE frozen, you probably won't know until they thaw, but at least your water is off and you won't have a big ole; wet mess.
