The first thing I would do is to turn ON the water. Hopefully two things will happen. First is that you will have water running freely from the spigots, which indicates they are not blocked by ice. Secondly that the only place you hear water running is from the spigots you have turned on. Be sure to check the outside spigots as well. If it is too cold, as long as you turn off the water, the thorough checking can be delayed until it gets a bit warmer. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think I'll drive over tomorrow and check it out. I'll turn on the heat to its lowest setting, turn off the water, close the vents, drain the pressure down and flush the water out ofthe toilets. Any other good suggestions? |
