Robert, If the BOE gets a larger slice of the budget pie (lets say increase from 53% to 58%) some other department or departments must be reduced or cut by 5%. If the other department do not get cut then taxes or some other revenue source must be increased. I don't know of any other way it works. Randy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Randy, As for not knowing which departments which would be cut is very important. Do you think the Sheriffs Dept, fire department, EMS or public works would like to know if he plans on cutting their funding? The way I read the statement by Ray, is that the Commissioners don't cut budgets. Did you read something different then I read or did I misinterpet something? Robert. |
