Thanks for the update. Another hurdle passed. Norm Conway's secretary suggests that a letter be written from Ocean Pines to Sheila Hixson regarding this bill. I guess C.O.P.E. will have to do that, since the BoD does not wish to do so. We don't know at the moment if the board would do so or not. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: House Bill # 1553 asking for a percentage of slots money for Ocean Pines got through the Rules Committee yesteday afternoon...March 16. It has been sent over to the Ways and Means Committee but no hearing date has been set. Del. Sheila Hixson D- Montgomery County is the Chairman of that committee and there are plenty of Ocean Pines property owners from that county who should contact her if they are interested in OP getting its fair share.
