Dan: I spent alot of time today, using the list from Joe and sending each Delegate an email from Barry and me. I will most certainly send more emails when Ro gets back and gives us the list. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Folks: Given the fact that Roseann Bridgman has an all-inclusive mailing list for the State Assembly and will be back in town Monday, it is my hope that she'll provide us access to that list (or perhaps forward emails from each of us endorsing the passage of HB 1553 as written). Better we take one strong shot at as many delegates as we can reach than to chase the bill through the system. Norm Conway has the horsepower to shepherd the bill through to a floor vote -- we just need to provide support for the final vote. So, hold your fire 'till Monday, then let's see what we can do to generate an email blast to the entire State Assembly in support the current version of HB 1553. Your help and support is essential, and very appreciated by everyone who has participated in this effort thus far. Dan Stachurski |
