Should I try a toilet-bowl flower pot to test your theory?  

Sure, you have a very neat well cared for yard. I am sure that it would fly as an objet d' art over there.

Check up the street from me. They probably have an extra one up there by now that you could take off their hands.

It needs more than just flowers to pass muster. Trailing vines would be helpful....and some sweet little ground cover and a few nice stones around the base would set it off nicely.
