Joe, Have you called either your delegate or senator and asked them to file a bill to include Ocean Pines, since they were in error when they left us out? If not...you are but one of the guilty constituents who are not making his/her voice heard. I called both of them just after the Special Session and expressed my wishes. Each and every person who even CARES should call. Politicians are elected to represent the wishes of the voters.....or they don't get re-elected. All you need to do is call or write to them. A good many Ocean Pines people live full time on the Western Shore. They have contacts with legislators where the votes are. WE DO MATTER! WE DO HAVE INFLUENCE. DO YOU REMEMBER THE CLAM DREDGING BILL? The Western Shore legislators made that bill pass....even though the Eastern Shore guys were against it. If Stoltzfus and Mathias cross-file the bill...it can get though with help from the other side of the water. BUT THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM THE CONSTITUENCY. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Anyone interested? Yes. I'm willing to become involved since it appears our board of directors has not the will or the political savy to look out for lot owners best interests when the board refuses to even try and obtain this money.
