Why is it that there are no At-Large members on the commission? I am afraid you are asking the wrong person as I am not familar with how these voting districts and policies are established. I am pretty sure from what I have seen in the past that politics trumps fariness. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jack, Why is it that there are no At-Large members on the commission? Most counties have both. In Montgomery we are divided into 5 districts and we have 4 At-Large members also. I think that is a good way. ( I like it because my neighborhood usually has at least two council members. Right now we have three! ) Do you think that the way the county is set up is just to keep Ocean Pines from electing more members? Nancy |
